Pipeline: Mermaid CLI (mmdc) renders diagrams directly to PDF via Puppeteer, pdfcrop trims whitespace, pandoc + xelatex produces the final 20-page document with vector diagrams, syntax-highlighted code, styled headers/footers, and table of contents.
